It’s not uncommon to have a piercing these days, most people have their ears pierced or sport a navel piercing. But there are some ‘not so common piercings’ around, the ones that really make people stand out from the crowd. This article takes a look into some of the weirdest piercings out there.

A new trend in piercings is that of the ‘body corset’, this is where there is two lines of 5-10 ring piercings usually down the back, or at the side of a female. Then ribbon is pulled through each of the ring piercing to make it appear like the girl is wearing a body corset – this is certainly not something for the faint hearted!

Katzen the tiger lady has some strange body jewellery, including metal whiskers that are attached to piercings in her upper lip. This goes well with her full body tiger tattoo – she definitely knows how to make a statement!

And finally a piercing you may have noticed whilst wandering the streets of Camden, is the painful looking head piercing. This involves large metal cone shaped piece of body jewellery being attached through the layer of skin on top of your head – ouch!
